Downloaded the app in the Apple Watch App Store but no watch app shown in the Watch app or on Apple Watch.

Sorry to hear that this did not work out of the box. Have you checked that the app is installed on the phone? If it is please check the watch settings app on the phone and make sure that the watch app is marked for installation.
If everything appears to be fine, maybe try restarting both devices at home.
